CMC-6000 is a high-viscosity Sodium Carboxymethyl Cellulose (CMC) powder used in water-based systems for thickening and stability, and it also supports emulsifying, suspending, and dispersing performance.
Typical viscosity is 6000–7000 cps (Brookfield, 1% solution, dry basis, 25°C).
CMC-6000 is hygroscopic. Store dry and clean, in original packaging, and away from heat; moisture content may increase if storage is not dry.
Applications include construction, detergents, personal care, paints & coatings, food & beverage, oilfield drilling, ceramics, paper & pulp, and textile.
CMC-6000 is supplied as white powder or granules, and the particle size is typically 95% passing 80 mesh.
